Lerna C. Ozcan, MD

Dr. Ozcan received her medical degree from Justus-Liebig University School of Medicine in Giessen, Germany. She completed her residency in general surgery at Rhode Island Hospital-Brown University in Providence, RI and St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, MA. After residency she spent one year doing a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Ozcan is the Medical Director of the Lowell General Hospital Breast Center, a nationally accredited Breast Center for Excellence.

In addition to English, Dr. Ozcan is fluent in German (her native tongue) and Turkish, and speaks basic Armenian.

When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Ozcan enjoys reading, jogging, and German chocolate.
